
Surface treatments—such as curing agents, primers, and bond-breakers—can interfere with adhesive bonding. When chemical curing compounds are necessary, water-based acrylic
emulsions are preferred due to their better compatibility with Lighthouse Adhesives. Silicate-treated concrete is never warranted, and we always recommend performing a bond test and mechanically removing incompatible coatings before installation.
